10 Under 10

Ma-Yi Studios is thrilled to launch our Ten Under Ten Series featuring 10-minute digital works by young Asian Americans under the age of ten. Each budding filmmaker is given camera, sound, and lighting equipment, along with small budgets for props and costumes. The story is conceived entirely by the young filmmaker with no assistance from parents or adults. Each participant is paired with an editor who takes their direction from the young filmmaker.
